New Update Fail

I loved this app when I first downloaded it. Then the latest update hit and It all went downhill. Why add the mandatory video recording and remove the "vocal monitoring" that made it so much fun to sing along? Now when Im wearing headphones I cant even hear myself! I dont know if its just my phone (5s) but I have also noticed some significant sync problems with recorded audio and the song being played. I sound like Im half a beat off all the time! Talk about frustrating. I havent had a good recording since the update that added video. I really hope the devs can get this app worked out. It used to be a blast. I hope it is again very soon. Its a great idea if they can make it work. So far they are coming up short.
